An Endless Fiction (2020)

An Endless Fiction is an expressive short music film. The film is a dark, symbol-rich journey that explores the often unseen experiences of those struggling with mental health and trauma, all the while using its imagery and music to walk the line between terror and beauty.

An Endless Fiction is a bratty, remarkable piece of art

The Shrine (2018)

“The Shrine” was an immersive, dance and music performance piece that used structured improvisation and a 3-dimensional interactive performance space to explore how the concept of what we consider “sacred” can change. The piece was created with support from the Boise Arts and History Department and was performed at Treefort 2018.

The Gospel of Nothingness (2016-2017)

Angel III.jpg

Working in collaboration with a large cast of artists specializing in everything from music to dance to set design, the Gospel of Nothingness was an large-scale performance piece that combined elements of written and visual story telling, vaudeville-inspired theatrics, modern dance, and an eclectic range of music to create an emotionally charged immersive experience . The result was an existential romp thru an odd but wonderfully rich world. The show ran from 2016-2017, and was performed at Treefort Music Fest 2017.

St. Terrible, a Boise, Idaho-based self-dubbed “freak folk” artist, has been, knowingly or not, spreading his own Gospel of Nothingness that not only taps into these Buddhist themes, but celebrates them with a jubilance. Mixing the joyfulness of a sermon, religious iconography, and a transgressive approach to performance itself which seeks too subvert the performer vs. audience dynamic, St. Terrible and the Gospel of Nothingness have created an expansive and embracing experience that is vital and vibrant
